To keep your Truly Grounded mat working effectively, simply wipe it down every 1–2 weeks with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals, alcohol, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the conductive surface. Always dry it fully before using again.
Store your mat by gently rolling it when not in use—avoid folding or creasing it sharply. Keep it away from extreme heat or direct sunlight, and use it with clean skin or light natural fabrics to maintain optimal performance.

FAQs
Is the grounding mat connected to electricity?
No—our mat connects only to the earth/ground pin in your socket. It does not draw electrical power, and the supplied adapter is designed to use the earth connection only.
Is it actually working when I plug it in?
Yes - every batch is tested by a certified electrician to check the setup works as intended. You're not just “plugged in”—the conductive mat, cord, and earth-only adapter are checked as a grounding system.
You are welcome to use a multimeter to test further as shown in this video.
How long should I use it for?
Start with a routine that feels easy to keep: for example, 20–30 minutes while working, reading, or relaxing. Some customers use it for longer sessions, but what people notice varies from person to person.
Can I use it while I sleep?
Yes, as long as the setup is comfortable and the cord is positioned safely. Place it under your feet, legs, or back so bare skin stays in contact with the mat.

What about EMFs?
This mat is not sold as an EMF shield or blocker. It is designed to provide conductive contact with the earth connection of a properly grounded UK socket. If EMF exposure is a concern, reducing distance and usage time around devices is still the most direct step.
Do I need to be barefoot?
We recommend bare skin touching the conductive surface. Thick clothing, socks, or insulating fabrics can reduce contact.
You only need one area of bare skin touching the mat while it is connected to a properly grounded socket.
